Accomodation Retrofit Solution for Neurodivergent-Friendly Holiday Parks
Following several conversations with holiday park operators, we recognise that in today’s climate many parks would prefer a more practical and affordable way to adapt existing caravans, lodges or pods to better support neurodivergent guests.
To help address this, we have developed Neurodivergent Retrofit Packages designed specifically for existing accommodation. This enables parks to make meaningful adjustments quickly without having to invest in a new unit, helping neurodivergent families feel confident when booking and knowing that suitable provisions are in place ready for the 2026 season.
We are now offering the following packages:
STANDARD - Neurodivergent-Friendly Retrofit Package.
The standard package includes the supply and installation of the following:
Consultation with the park operator to identify the most suitable accommodation unit
Bespoke padded safe bed with mattress and black out blind
Bespoke My Safe Place interactive sensory equipment and toys
Safety catches throughout
My Safe Place safe hob cover
Window and door alarms
Two custom baby gates
Sensory bean bags
Visual aid internal door signage
Staff training for 2 delegates – Introduction to Neurodiversity
Initial supply of 10 sensory gift bags for guests
45 minute check in for first month

PREMIUM Neurodivergent-Friendly Retrofit Package.
The premium package includes the supply and installation of the following:
· Consultation with the park operator to identify the most suitable accommodation unit
· Padded safe bed with mattress & blackout blind
· Bespoke My Safe Place interactive sensory equipment & toys
· Safety catches
· Safety hob cover
· Window & door alarms
· Custom sized baby gates
· Sensory bean bags
· Visual aid internal door signage
· Staff training for 5 delegates – Introduction to Neurodiversity
· Initial supply of 20 sensory gift bags for guests
· 45 minute check in for first 3 months

Once the accommodation has been retro fitted, parks also have the option to join our My Safe Place Accreditation Scheme.
Annual accreditation fee: £1,200 + VAT
This includes:
• Listing on the My Safe Place website as a Neurodivergent-Friendly Holiday Park
• Launch promotion across our social media channels
• Promotion to neurodivergent families searching for inclusive holidays
• A trusted My Safe Place badge and certificate for display
• Notification to organisations such as Hoseasons, VisitEngland and National Autistic Society where appropriate
We also offer ongoing consultancy and advice on neurodivergence, either on a pay-as-you-go basis or as a retained service for continued support.
